We are looking to run a season at Merritt speedway in Merritt, bc. I have been told it's a 3/8 oval with mild banking with clay base.
We are running a G body Monte.
What I am looking for is a set up sheet of cars that were set up on similar tracks, something to start with. This is the first time any of us have run on the dirt, So We are looking for a lil guidance. any help is greatly appreciated
I am looking for Spring rates you have used, front and rear Ride heights Tire pressures
Camber angles Caster
Toe set up
Weights
Shocks set up.
Are adjustable trailing arms allowed??
We spent the better part of 10 years on asphalt, We want to try something new.

Jr., First thing I would do is get a copy of the rules for the track(s) you are running. Make sure you have correct engine, suspension etc. Safety is number one. Get best seat, belts, suit and helmet budget allows.
As for set up, again check the rules. A lot depends on the vehicle weight. I would start with LF 950 spring with 3-5 belstien, RF 850 with 10-3, LR 200 1-9 RR 150 with 4-10.
LF 3.75°+ camber .75°+ caster RF 3.25°- camber 3.75 + caster 3/8-1/2 toe.
Try to scale the car to approx 52-54% left 52-55% rear and 50-52% cross.
Depending on the track (tacky or dry slick) run 1-2" stagger in front and 0-3" in rear. 0 if dry slick.
