My question is this. To prevent fuel slosh, on a budget, I was told to fill my cell with plastic whiffle balls. The kind that are full of holes, not partial slotted ones. My buddy says they will melt? The cell liner itself is made of plastic. So . . . .what up with that? Any help out there? Thanks. LewyDean B17

Never heard that one before. L.O.L. All plastics are different so take a old glass pickle jar and fill with gas you run. Drown the poor whiffle ball in it and see what happens after a few days. I'm betting gas wins, ball dies.

Put nothing in but clean fuel with top lube jetted to this fuel! Always keep the tank full for a better control of your set-up and rear traction!

I got a tank in trade that had the black plastic drain tiles in it. They were stacked verticaly. The black plastic drain looked like an accordian and had slits along it's sides. Might be cheap from a local hardware store.

We have ran a baffled tank with no noted change!

If not mounted high it is not a problem to even consider! We always pull ours out if it has any! Had bad results with stopping up lines, filters or snapping off pick-up tubes or hoses! Even new tanks have had trash!

Ya I have heard of the Whiffle Ball deal before, but I have never used it. Im sure Alcy will melt them, but gas should be OK, only one way to know. get one and soak it if fuel for a week and see if it gets soft. I have heard of people using pieces of black plastic French drain pipe and all kinds of things. Something is better than nothing as long as it works.

Weight drop by inches from the top with spacing is faster if using it for roll! Slosh gives a faster transfer and side force holds it there! Have you ever slung a bucket of water? It may even help miss a crash or two! Two sides to every tank! Some of ours were wedged inside to raise weight when rolled up hill to the right but square out side! Tune in your tank to style of set-up as needed! A tear drop can add rear percent fast or take it away when lifting! I have seen those mounted to slosh to the right for a faster plant of the right rear tire! I mount my tanks to the right as to loose right rear weight as the race goes and track gets slicker to add more left rear and hook harder for the last four laps as to mounting middle and loosing rear percent or mounting left and being looser at the end of the race and having to slow down! 4th place and 2 laps to go was a easy win on a slick track! If you don't burn but 5-6 gallons in the feature, you may not notice a change so much mounted low!
