All are not inside the engine! Belt drive pulleys reduction, limitations of pump pressures, cooler air and engine temps, lighter turning objects to name a few sometimes taken for granted! Extra fuel and more timing, matching fuel burn by plug gap per cylinder, matching fuel to cranking compression, indexing the spark plugs, header wrap or exhaust tuning are a big jump! A hotter spark up-grade can do wonders! A top lube can offer a bit with these in place! Hydraulic doesn't mean you can't up the spring tension and run on the bottom side of the adjustment as not to loose any horses! 1.6 rockers with the correct push rods sometimes bolt right in! Curve kits and the limitations of max timing also limits the fall and loss of horses! Running a live vacuum advance to keep it clean at idle helps too if chunking the power valve in the carb for a better reading of the burn and a longer pull with out getting tight if over geared! Setting the timing by ear after the up-grades can get a few more! A K&N air filter can help match air temps and fuels as the bra is like 2 jet sizes if air temp drops! Being constant with the oil applied is key to jetting! Running on the lean side does require more checking of number 3 cylinder plug but its the biggest boost of all! I hope this hundred plus horses helps!

I get this a lot and most are not quite realizing the boost from just doing it up simply right and how would you even know???---By your added performance over others who have the same or more but not a clue how the mix effects the next thing in line of the power train from your foot two the track!-- Our wins threw the last 35 years including the 4 out of 5 cars this year says it loud and clear with KNOWHOW!!!! And if others can win with just my help on set-ups? ?? Well the next 3 out of 5 can be yours too!!!!

Even the simplest things can be the most of use when rethinking the processes of useage with new factors! Crate engines leaves it all up to you to get it done right!!!
