Hey guys i'm running a super stock metric car. Just trying to get some advice on ackerman. Whats the best way of putting ackerman in the car and being able to adjust it. I know that you don't want to run a lot of it. Just trying to get a feel the ways to actually put it in and take it back out of the car. Didn't Know if you could run a little longer tie rod on one side then the other or if that would just affect toe in and out? Just trying to get a better understanding on it. All advice is welcomed want to hear the do's and don'ts. thanks guys

If the chassis is leaned left where the rods level out when rolled and toed out a1/2 to start with It works well! We run all the caster we can and run all stock front end parts! Once you start moving things it can get out of control fast!!! Be sure your spindles are straight as this can do major changes!!!

Bend the right steering arm out, puts it in a different 'plane than the left. Try it on a spare spindle and see, use some heat, and see if it does pull the right hand tire in closer to the left wheel. If you want more ackerman, take an inch out of the idler arm, ( Use a spare ) If it works for you use it. moldy
