I drive a 3200 lbs street stock with a 358 with a 1.82 glide with 3.42 gears and I run in low, The car has RF 950 spring with easy up afco shock, LF 850 spring with heavy afco shock, LR is a 225 with a tie down shock and RR 175 with a 50/50 shock. I haven't had the car scaled this year so I don't know bite or % etc yet. The car goes into the corner pretty well with a very slight push depends on track condition, rotates well and gets pointed in the right direction pretty well but as soon as I give the gas no matter how much I feather it the tires break loose, so I loose my forward drive. Any advice on how I can try and stop this while I am waiting to be scaled? Tires are 8x15 Hoosier, I run 2 inch offsets on the front and 3 on the back RR and a 2 on LR in the feature I have a 1 inch spacer on RF and LR, The guys with a better set up and running the 602 are killing me because I cant get out of the corner hooked up.

Shocks 5-5 left ft. 3-3 rt ft. & 4-4s on the rear both sides!-- if using any lead weight make sure it is on the left rear for holding traction when rolled as well as battery weight-- not gas however as it goes away-- put it on the right to gain left as the track dries out!!! A 200 split up ft. will hold your cross better when rolled keeping the left rear planted and the car should roll down on the right after nosing to plant the right rear for more traction there with out loosing or rolling up and off of the left to get right traction!!! You could swap rear springs and run reverse stagger if you like hot fast and looser than hell until you touch the throttle!!! Transfer in shock package and weight placement is still a must in either case to hook and handle!!!

A greater split up front -stronger on the right to hold left rear and cross weight!Little roll out needed if switching to right drive as it should in the corners to push the car left and off the turn! a 900 and a 1200 with 250 and 225 rears might be better suited to the weight of the car!

Try a deeper final ratio. Depending on track length, get a ratio you are comfortable running with. 1.86 x 4.11 or 4.30s Not a bad combination. You won't buzz the tires as bad, it will be 'all traction. 3.42's once they are spinning it is hard to work the throttle to slow/stop them from spinning.

DON'T FORGET ABOUT CASTER DOING IT'S PART IN THE TRANSFER BY TWISTING THE FRAME LEFT WHEN YOU TURN RIGHT! BY THE SAME TOKEN YOU CAN RUN TIGHTER AND LOOSEN IT ENOUGH TO TURN WHEN STEERING LEFT! A TOTAL OD F 80 POUNDS OF LEFT REAR GIVEN TO THE DRIVERS CONTROL BY STEERING IS OFTEN LOST IN THE SUFFLE OF SETTINGS!!! IT IS HARD TO STEER IF WEIGHT HAS TO WAIT ON ROLLOVER TO STEER THE REAR AND BY THE SAME LOOSING LEFT REAR IN THE PROCESS AND EXSPECTING IT TO HOOK UP WITH LESS!!! IF ALL ELSE FAILS YOU CAN ADD MORE FUEL OR LESS TIMING BY USE OF DISTRIBUTOR WAITS AND SPRINGS OR ADVANCES RETARDING BY LOSS UNDER LOAD!!! ALWAYS A KEY FACTOR OR US RUNNING SO MANY HORSES AND STAYING HOOKED TO WIN ON DRYSLICK TRACKS! JUST MASH AND MOVE WHILE SLIDING UP THE TRACK WIDE OPEN AND IN OVER YOUR HEAD WITH SPEED!!! LOOK OVER SMILE AND STAND IN IT AND MOVE WITH LESS ONLY FOR THAT MOMENT...
