Thinking about building a 377 with a forged bottom end. Forged Crank, Dome Pistons, H Beam Rods, Internally Balanced. Would it be a waste of time to use a prepped stock 509 or 817 block with main and head studs ? Want to use a cam with a low duration and about a 6.30 lift.

Is there a question to be answered? Studs always seem the best option in a engine block.
You really need to watch your piston to valve clearance with a .630 lift
