Hey guys!, I'm new to the forum and also a beginner at racing. First year, I don't know a whole lot about it and I'm looking to get to know as much as possible and getting better. I'm looking for some advice on setup. I race what my track calls a "hotmod" its a restricted modified, we run a 3 link suspension with solid links with a panhard/ J Bar connected to left side frame goes over top of driveshaft to right side of pinion. springs welded to center of the top of the axle tubes. I run on a 1/4 track high banked(12 degree turns with 6 degrees straights.) I have a metric front end. It was a old huff streetstock converted to run my class. As of now I feel like my car is loose coming off, like maybe I need some more forward bite. its loose going in it turns itself but I kind of like that, but here is my setup, let me know what you all think, Thanks! Springs- LF(700) RF(750) LR(125 tall 16") RR(200) Shocks- LF(30/50) RF(30/60) LR and RR are both straight 4 valve Ride Heights are all 5 3/8 Scales- LF(628) RF(534) LR(775) RR(601)-----Cross(51.53) left(55.23) rear(54.17) wedge(174) total weight- 2540 *must weigh 2500* Read more: thedirtforum.boards.net/thread/1551/setup-help#ixzz5oqVjQmcs
