If on the chip at 7,000 now and adding a new faster set up of .5-1 second faster per lap, How many gear points are needed on a 1/4 and a 3/8 track if most cams ranges are 3500 up? ---- Take into consideration too that the higher the gear, the less rpm changes and holds a tighter range to pull harder when at peak once adjusted to this new gear! More torque and horses held together all the way down with higher gears! How much change to be faster now that the slow corner speed is not a load to tote coming off with gear? I know lots of info is missing but please provide yours to create good answers! ---Mine is more than you think if you can tune to it, to peak and hold it steady with stronger! The higher rpm off the corner with less range change is wild! Do you change at the trany or diff. or tires to get what you want in gear ratios in load factors? Do you think they are all the same in load or gear factors???
