What exactly are you wanting to know? I have always used only one way to win more! If you start level with minimal even settings, when you lean it left one inch all the angles become apparent as to there needs when rolled! If you have read my post, this still wins and is the most free, drivable setup with enough rear traction by added weight on the left rear to increase transfer! This added weight in this location does much more than just add traction with out jacking in left rear and upping the preload on the right front or cross! It increases many options that improve steer by less movement of the chassis! It gets rid of transitions and varied adjustments to track conditions! YES --- you can improve in some respects but at what cost to others! This set-up makes its own adjustments by staying with in working ranges with less movement but with more transfer of pounds and less steer factors at the bars! It lets them stay close to their settings to do the job intended with-out interruption by extremes in movement! As the chassis is most level when rolled it lets the driver have control of the balance by use of extreme caster! The front end will twist the frame from side to side to control 4 wheel steer and rear drive thrust to push the car in the direction desired! All four tires stay planted at all times in the turn with spring preloads in place! So many issues to cover if you are not up to speed in terminology yet! Give us more insight on your part first as far as needs!!!

Thanks for getting back so quick. Im not sure of the angles for the bars and the pull bar? Is there any rear steer with 3 link? Any advice on shocks and springs to run?

Is this a full blown late chassis or ft. clipped as names of classes and cars change in different states! it depends on length of bars but 6 left and 8 right with it leaned left is a start! Pull bars run from 15 down to 26 but it is more about the rear bracket distance and indexing! It can be flat depending on all else if not moving too much! What does your lower brackets look like on your rear-end and spring locations ft. and rear? All the steer you need and more as it takes little to be faster! J-bar or pan hard bar to hold the rear straight under the car?

@champ, I'm looking at running 3-link in a crate late model(full tube chassis) What length arms do you like and at what angle? Do you run the springs on clamps or on the links(like swing arm)? All my experience is with swing arm cars and long pull bars... What do you recommend? Lastly what basic setup should I start with?
Thanks, Highwayman41

If you’re going to run a 3 link I highly suggest running the panhard on the right side of the frame with the axle connection of the left, and return some of the weight moving off the left side back over there.
