I have a set that was sent by mistake. I've never heard of them. Are they a knock-off or are they a decent head or junk?

NIck, is that you? Anyway, they are an IMCA provider of heads and other stuff. Their website is www.aamidwest.com/enginequest/. Not sure if they are any good or not, but I suspect they are o.k. Hope that helps. Ray

It depends on what you plan on doing with them. Honestly, I bolted a set of 220's untouched on top of a 383 for an IMCA Engine and it was one of the best pieces I have ever owned. The heads were pretty close out of the box, we did a simple valve job on them and went racing. I remember I had to clearance the spark plug boss though, and I was using a shelf Weisco piston. Guys were putting 235's on top of 421's out of the box and they ran great too.

Just asking. Trying to see if I should return them or use them. Would be putting them on a 383 in a sportsman car.
