Hi everyone,
what is your opinion about r2c paper filtrer vs K&N filtrer on a dirt modified. Last years, i was running K&N oil filtrer and i got some dirt issue in my carburator. I want to know if r2c paper filtrer can be better?
Thanks for your help.

A bit more restrictive for the mass of flow needed and to even if chunked after each hot lap-heat and A main -- Draw factors have to change with moister and temps to stay atop the horses needed-- even down to oil used and how much can win or loose for us on our K&N with use of a Bra as to change jetting by draw factors-- we keep two and gives four options with out jetting changes LOL---

Ok thanks for your fast reply, but if we think filtration quality, do you think K&N is better than r2c. If we use normal K&N filtrer oil and if we use prefiltrer on each.

R2C is better for dirt racing, flows better, and seals better to the base, been running one for 5 seasons and no dirt related wear in eng. K&N was originally developed for boat racing and it worked good out on the water with no dust, To stop the fine dirt they added the oil to catch it, so that added restriction. One of the keys to the R2C is the double ridges on the base that seals it to your air cleaner, alot of dirt sneaks by this way, but not on an R2C. So thats my .02 or you can listed to Flipflops babble about how he wins for 35 years.

New season for more proof with 7 cars this season! All K/N with oil to catch and not restrict flow-- never a wear or dirt problem here! Top lube recommended with all fuels as to wear with twice the fuel most run --lol-- A bit of grease top and bottom can be used if a faulty seal but with all to-each his own! GOOD LUCK THIS NEW SEASON TO ALL!!!

Flipper,
you are so out of touch, out dated and irrelevant its not even funny. What you did back in the day no longer holds water. What we did 2 years ago is now old news for the top teams. It has been proven on the Dyno time and time again that the KN oiled filter is more restrictive than the R2C. That is fact, not your babble BS, just because you convinced 7 cars this season to do it your way dont mean crap. No top team runs a KN, No Latmodles or Mods, dont even know an engine builder that recommends it over a R2C.

Me for one if my record stands from just texting others and they start winning by set-up alone-- no motor upgrades yet!!!! If I need twice the fuel to make it happen-- do you know how to burn cleanly (as in snow white plugs) and use efficiently all the burn stroke with 12 gallons of pump gas in the 20 lap A- main on quarter mile ALONE? ?? How much do you burn nightly total of your choice!!!! Just bolted DALE JRs. carb on our choice for this year --CORRECTION WACHED IT DONE WITH CAREFUL THOUGHT AFTER GOING THREW IT TO SEE THE DALE TALE!!!- How cool is that in your world of today!!! DO I figure he's got it right-- HELL NO!!! BUT HEY WE WILL SEE IF NASCAR GIVES THOUGHT TO THEIR FUEL BURN STROKE CONSUMPTION OR JUST A MILAGE THING!!!---LOL--- Fixing to buy a motorcycle used --- can you help with that? I do value your opinions but DUDE-- you don't even know me- as far as I know -- if so it would be yes sir and no sir as all else I help to win MANY INSTANTLY!!!! AND YOU THINK I'M THE ONE BEHIND---WE WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCE THIS YEAR WITH ALL THE CHANGES MADE AND A NEWHALLERTO GET US HOME SAFELY THE MORNING ATER --- CORRECTION --PULLERS __ FOR BOTH TEAMS __ DUDE GET A GRIP--JUST ASK OR BELIEVE OF JUST GO WIN FIRST NIGHT OUT ANYWHERE AS WE PLAN TOO! SCIENCE CHANGES DAILY ---KEEP UP!!!

Flipper, Time you you to put up or shut up. Every post all you say is how much you have won bla, bla, bla. Lets see some proof. I never hide who I am, its very easy to verify what I have done in racing. Lets see what you have done. Where do you race? Who are you? call me skeptical but with all that winning, it must be very easy to verify, right? And any time you want to show me what your bumper looks like. Let me know. We race all over. Here is my 2015 car, feel free to post yours. Dave.
