Hey guys I was wondering if anyone on here runs both USRA and IMCA B mods if you even can and if so what are the changes you need to make in order to run them ? only wondering cause there is a track in particular that I would love to race on and they run USRA and im in IMCA. |

basic differences
IMCA SPORTMOD= springs on top of rearend, long straight panhard bar, no aftermarket trans, front spindles IMCA stamped, hard g60 hoosier tire.
Can it be done..... heck ya. I know several guys that have IMCA setup cars and run USRA and get top 5's in both.

Having glanced at USRA rules....
If your running an IMCA sportmod with a claim engine there isn't anything keeping you from competing in USRA other than tires. Looks like you need to run an American Racer G60 or KK704.
Not sure how strict the USRA tracks are, but they may not give a rat about running the IMCA Hoosier G60 if your only going to run a night or two.
