Our setup is very close to what we need. We have been playing with the idea of changing the rf shock. Currently we are running a bilstein 45/45. We are loose on entry and rest is great. We were thinking of a less compression shock. Does that mean we go with less then a 45 or more then a 45? We ran a 35/55 last week and our entry suffered quite a bit. Shock ratings are kind of confusing as what less compression means. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

First number going in compression and rebound coming out! Each set up varies so much but shocks do have key factors in each-- a variation between right ft and left ft. is it on my way of doing things! I use straight valve for my transfer purposes of 5-5 left and 3-3 right to nose and plant right rear at the same time before the turn or roll! You if like most hiking and running the rear open may need to reverse the numbers to your needs! OR JUST CLOSE THE REAR OR LOWER J_BAR _OR LOWER BAR ANGLES!!! Good luck finding your key shocks! Rears on mine are 3s or 4s-- a bit old school but for a purpose still with my style of making it work and win!!! IT STILL DOES!!!

Remember first number on Bilstein is REBOUND. second is compression. Try a Bilstein 50/30 =01H
