Anyone got any build pics of their car? Build pics, or just a pic from the races? This off-season stuff is taking forever!!

My 14 year old son's mini stock. Obviously sponsored by our local police department. My car after winning the july 4th race. I did put a you tube video on the post titled Racing in Alaska. Managed to get it in on my response.

I watched your video, very cool! It's usually in the high 90's or easily 100 plus degrees here in July, and I noticed in your vids that most people are wearing winter coats. I don't have pictures of my ministock from back when I started racing, but I have one of my Dad's mini's from the 70's. Its a 1976 Dodge Colt.

Those were summer jackets. Our winter coats are much heavier. On that video it was probably 65 degrees. Your dad's car looks very cool!! Can't say I've ever seen a Colt mini stock before. The track in the background looks to be at least a 3/8 mile. The trophy is for bragging rights. The 1k check in my pocket was the icing on the cake.

This is a picture of the car last year right after our first practice. WE just built it that winter and it's my first leave car.

This is my toyota station wagon dirt car (toywagon) from 1999. Had alot of fun with that car! My dads late model from some time in the early 70's I believe.

I remember that stage in the build racer96. I see the weight clamps on the crossbar right in front of the radiator. Do you mount lead there, or is there another use or something Im not seeing. Great looking A mod! Jim

Jim,
I will use the weight clamps in front of the rad to attach the rad mount to. The Rad is just sitting in there now.

Jim, I race in Southern New Mexico (not really new and not really Mexico) and El Paso Texas. I still race it, I just don't have any recent pics that are worth posting.
