Glad to see this forum back up & running, Im getting ready to set my car up for the first time myself, seems nobody want to help with good information So, I got a few questions on a few things, First of , I have to weigh 3200 at ANY time, So far I have: LF Spring 800 (New Afco) RF Spring 950 (New Afco) LR Spring 175 (Leafs w/1" Block) RR Spring 200 (Leafs w/ 2" Block) Bilstein Shocks Adjustable Front Buckets What are the ride height # on each corner And Where do i measure ride heights at ? Do i change the ride heights in rear with the shackles? does the lowering block put bite in the car? What #'s will i need to to try to be at as far as front, rear & bite I have scales now, do i weight the car with me in it or without? Sorry for such a long post, Thanks in advance for your help Freddy

To be honest I feel that your front end Is a bit soft, just as an opinion. I don't know how much banking your track is, It may be decent if its flat, if more than 10 deg, I'd be upping the rates a bit, I run a camaro on about 18 deg banking. Springs are RF 1200, LF1000. RR 200, LR 225. It's quite stable with good bite. I would think the best place to measure ride height would be the pinch weld on the rocker panel. As for what ride heights, I'm not sure since I can't use blocks or jacks. If its flat I'd go high, if its banked I'd go a bit lower. It's all in prefererance. I would try your blocks opposite put the 2in drop on left, 1 on right. Afco has a good tech article on leaf springs and shackle angles I have been able to use most of it with good luck. I scale my car without me in it. I start mine off 53% cross ( LR 75 bite) I acquire that with offsets, 3off across rear, 2off RR if track is heavy, I cannot use lead or blocks, I'm assuming you can use lead if there's a weight minimum. If so I would put it as close to the top of the rear end as possible( not on it) with leaf cars I have found most success with getting drive off LR. Hope this hels a little

Sounds right to me too! Load up with 200lbs on the left to compress the 1000 so the 1200 can noise un compressed! A softer rt shock than left by 2-3 split should help in and out of the throttle with even across the back 5-6s.
