What has our sport become when every track everywhere has nothing but rich kids and big sponsors out spending 95% of the competition in order to have a faster better handling car so they can win more. Car counts across North America have been destroyed because nobody can afford to compete with their big bank accounts or their sponsors. These people do nothing but see how much they can spend to win races. That's not racing, that's not being a better driver, that's not talent. That's spending more money then the person beside you. If you ask these rich kids, their parents or their sponsors they'll all tell you the same thing, we have " talent " or " your jealous ". They have no defense for their actions, none of them can justify what they're doing they just laugh and collect the winners check. These people are scum and it's a disease in dirt racing to see how much money someone can spend to win a race. All around the dirt nation if you pay attention you'll see that the most expensive teams from each track or series win the most races. Our sanctioning bodies will not change any rules or establish a level playing field because they profit off of these teams dominating a track or a series, they sell more merchandise this way. They refuse to accept that the sport is slowly dying and covid 19 gave them a little bit more time. If all our sport is going to be is scum bags seeing how much of their own or their sponsors money they can spend then this sport is doomed. In not one other sport can someone spend money to be better, they have to work to be better themselves. Can Sydney Crosby buy a stick that wins his team a Stanley cup? Can Tom Brady buy a shoe that wins his team a superbowl? No, But Matt williamson, Stewart friesen, Larry Wright, Brad Sweet, Donny Schatz, Steve Kinser, Josh Richards, Scott Bloomquist, Brandon Sheppard...............can buy cars that win races and championships. That's not right and these guys are supposed to be men, that's not what a man does. A man wins because he's a better driver and has more talent or a better set up not because he's wealthier or his sponsor is. If we don't do anything as fans this will keep happening and our sport will be forever tainted. When you see one of these over spending big money teams at the track don't congratulate them, don't cheer for them, don't buy their merchandise. Just ignore them and walk away.
