I am the owner of a roller with a Chevelle front clip grafted to metric rails and rear clip. Would this car be legal anywhere? I trusted the seller when he said it would be CRUSA legal. Does not look like it would be to me. He says the rules say the rear has to be same make not the same model. I think even if he is right the wheelbase would make it illegal. Thoughts I hate to junk it a lot of nice parts and body here?

The rules only state "Wheelbase must match that of front clip being raced, and rear suspension must match front suspension (ex. 70s Camaro front clip must have leaf spring rear suspension)." They even have a prefab tubular chassis option. I would say as long as you can get the wheel base correct you should be good. Chevelle's and metrics used the GM 4 link style rear suspension. Although slightly different, same basic setup.
