Hey Y'all!! I am building my first dirt late model from the ground up, I was wondering if there was a benefit to running .810 over 1.25 inch rotors or vice versa. any help would be awesome!!

While never addressing the issue other than lighter and less to cool, I would have to be looking at both per weight of car, hydraulics, diameter and time used! Cooling design and shields or fans (as to location)! Pads used and metal compounds and friction factors as to cost, longevity and safety! Keep asking why! Newer designs in shape to be considered I am sure! Call and see what is selling best!

Pro - less unsprung weight, probably 1-2 pounds per wheel
Con - have to replace rotor more often
I have always run the lighter ones on Pure Stock and Mod. Never have had a LM.
