While toe out is like roll center and moment center, it changes with all movements! The front lifted under full throttle yields little drag if drawn inward by correct angles of setup! Rt. rear is the only heat and should be little as to add two pounds at most when steer front and rear is under little drag! A one pound expansion rate is normal on all at ten laps depending on the psi. you run to keep the flex out of the game! Tire pressure and offset is part of your spring package and should be set by weight factors in relation to shifting weight as well as static! A low pressure may allow flex and produce heat to raise the pressure until where it needs to be, minus the pounds of normal heat expansion. A quick check after laps will help with a temp gun or hand and a meter or a thumb! Feathering of tires gives good clues as to problems in loose or tight on the right rear tire as for the binding in the steer process!

I think that is why the exaggerated toe I use to build LF heat works so well. On a tacky or heavy track I literally carry it off the track ( not as much as we did a few years ago ) but its up enough that the toe really has 0 effect. On the dry I think it is on the track more, but I don't really need to worry as much then about any power trade off from it as you can't really use all the power on dry with these mods anyway.
It is good for alot more heat in a tire thats hard to build temp in. Over the last several years, chassis builders have worked hard on the suspension's on these mods to get the LF back down on the track and work 4 tires instead of 3. Its still the coldest tire of the 4 after a feature and it really works better with added heat. We have had alot of success with it.
However,,,,,,, I got caught up in a crash mid season, and if you run exaggerated toe, be ready for a track worker to look at the front of your car and indicate that your front end is WAY out. I had that happen to me and after restarting from the back due to the crash, ran back up to I think 3rd that night. Toe was still dead on, just fooled the track worker into thinking It was way out on toe. I ran several laps a bit easier tho a bit uncomfortable that I had front end issues. I should upload the incar vid of that LOL

While spaces are good for tuning they vary as to location and spring rates with no set of rules, but it may work and help if tried and proven so at the time on that car! As for toe, we run more with no drag down the straights as to ft lift changing angles as does Ackerman when getting back to center
