Looking at building a B-Mod that would race locally in West Tennessee, rules are pretty close to USRA. Just wondering what chassis everyone is running in the B-Mods. Would it be worth my time to buy a purpose built B-Mod or could I just by a regular Mod and convert it to a 3-link?
Thanks

If you know what your doing, and why you want to do it, converting to a 3 link isnt a big deal. But if your no chassis guy and want to have a known good set-up, a purpose built and proven car would be the way to go. Just my .02

I would have to agree with Dave.

If I do decide to go with a purpose built 3-link, what chassis would you recommend? I think we could convert a chassis, we have built a couple of 3-link sportsman cars in the past, I have have worked on everything from them to super late models.

Sounds like you have more than enough experience to setup a 3 link. They are honestly so simple that almost anyone can do it. Let us know what problems you run into, we run nothern sportmodified. I don't know how open the USRA rules are comparitively.

Roll ready is best but as you well know by now, every one has its on agenda! A pan-hard bar is most drivable and can still pull both wheels! I always have to move things anyway!
