Do you guys think that a 327 would have enough torque to pull a Bmod out of the corner well enough to compete? 362 limit

I ran one in a B mod. Lots of RPM but not as much torque as a 360. When it was dry slick it ran well with the bigger motors, but when it was heavy/tacky it couldn't keep up with them.

At my track its all about out of corner, we are spinning 6800-7300 in a "pure stock" with a 360 rule. I'm using a 327, stock crank, good balancer, light i beam rods and good pistons , flat top. If you can get a cam with a broad to range you may be able to make that work.

No do! Just drop the timing back with dist. weights to rid all you dont need for a few car lengths and then put it right back!
