have a 3-link swing arm with springs on the arms. need more forward drive. would straight arms and springs clamped in front give more forward drive?

On a spring type pull bar, yes. Solid bar, not sure. Increasing rear percent will help with that as well as reducing the RR trail.

Put more bite in your car. Most swing arm setups traditionally run a ton of bite in their cars. What are your numbers for percentages. I would think you would want your bite up around 200 - 300 pounds with a swing arm car.

While 80 pounds is a sweet spot if spring rates and less movement is used along with the frame twist of excessive caster settings increasing transfer rates!
