How much do the tires cool off during extended cautions?

I guess that would depend on the air temp and how long the caution was. It would definitely be interesting to figure out how much for each tire though...

I was always looking to cool the Right sides as much as I could during a caution. I always looked for the soft dirt to cool them off. I even would drive down to the infield if there was standing water and drive through it just to cool them off, but I was always running the soft compound tires. I couldn't tell you just how much they cooled, but every little bit helped.

If grooving is allowed--they cool faster but heat faster too if need be in grooving designs!
