Starting a discussion about tire stagger after some deep reading.
On 1/4 mile tracks with comparable banking do you run the same stagger track to track?
Do you run your largest tire on the rf, two largest on the right side or something different?
Regardless of measurements, is your stagger the same, front and rear?
if you can give some kind of feed back like why or why not that would be great also.

Depends on tires! Limited tires don't give much but a 1/2 inch works just fine when rear steer is doing it's job! Larger on the right rear and ft. unless swapping the front to adjust setup! 2 inch off sets all the way unless a 3 for changing setup! Watch clearance on the rt rr on the frame! If 2 compounds are used put a harder or last years tire on the right rear to take the heat and then be a match! If grooving is allowed, left rear need twice as much as the right! New tires need none at first! Best to match compounds left rear and right front to keep a push away 8-10 laps into the race! B-mods on slicks require 3 inches to help turn more or less depending on track tackiness! We make few adjustments and no spring or shock changes track to track ! Finding a sweet spot in motion by total weight and front to rear percent sets spring rates and shocks then for timing transfer regardless! Air pressure is set per wheel weight to make the rest do there job! A low air pressure can ruin a good setup.

I know what you mean about stagger, ask one guy he says 1/2 inch ask another he says 3 inches and these are all people that are winning. So you asked I think "do you put same stagger in front as rear" I do but what the hell do I know. A couple months ago I figured out that after 10 years of racing on and off I only have about 30 hours of actual racing seat time. This forum helps. By the way Champ this was your most practical post I've read, imformative.
I run my largest tire on the rr. Yes the 2 largest on right side. I run Street Stocks I think you guys Have other adjustments.

Stagger can fix or help a few ills but is is acutally a cruch and slows your straightaway speeds and heats those tires------ young guy in compact ft wheel drive needs to run stager reversed on thr front and rear if the need be-- the shorter tire has more power to help it turn by pulling harder to the left with use of not being locked!!! ---LOL---

Rear stagger helps the car turn in the middle of the corner. Front stagger helps the car turn better on corner entry. Too much rear stagger can cause the car to be loose off the corner. A "General" guideline for stagger would be Front: 1" Rear: (Dryslick) 1/2-1" (Tacky) 1-2" (Heavy) 2+". Thats a general guide and you can adjust rearsteer from there. All this varies with track corner size of-course.
