Engine vacuum goes threw roof while lifting and then all else comes out threw the block and pan! After blowing 3 motors in a row with a total of 21 hot laps before season ever started, I was forced to address the power of vacuum when lifting! Pulling pistons tops off, rods , and the best bolts on the market into with ease, a simple thing of too low of a idle was the culprit! Drilling holes in the upper side just off the shaft of the butterflies works too if no vacuum rule! This gets you back to the idle circuit and also draws more fuel in to cool the pistons when lifting if running a bit lean on top-end allowing for more horses before lifting, ( if not running a power valve in your carb )! Getting off the off idle circuit may keep it cleaner also while in the pits or under caution for a faster restart!
