Would first like to thank all Dirt Forum members again for help and advice in getting my car ready to race! Took it to practice night last night. First session I played it conservative. Good in 1 and 2 and 3 but had a push coming out of 4. Came in and checked everything over. All looked good. Made no changes. Second session I cranked on it. Took it to the high side cushion and the push in 4 went away. NICE not to have to use any brake, only throttle to get it to turn. Anyway it was hauling the mail pretty darn good till about the eighth lap when going into 3 L. rear goes Boom, I jump the cushion and exit the ballpark at a high rate of speed. Good thing no walls in the corners. MY MISTAKE, not realizing the left rear moves that far forward when up on the bars hard. Tire tried to make wheelwell bigger and lost. Live and Learn right. All in all as my neice would say, I'm tickled pink with the cars performance! Thanks again and I hope I didn't bore anyone with this post. VintageMod

That's a good start… gotta wait a bit before my son gets his mod out. Can't wait.

We have all been there in one respect or another! Glad to here you're still able to post! Traffic will tell the tell a bit better! We stopped hiking to win and went with two wheels pulling to handle the horses and drivable to out drive them! Even when wide open with no transitions on the bars to deal with when on or off the throttle! It lets roll out actually work! You have to hike until on three wheels and run as a tricycle to make it drive with that much rear steer or you will be chasing it up the hill! Never able to let off with out facing transitions and lost time! I had to come up with some other way to win and it works for us on any car, truck, or chassis sense! As I am getting older, I am only hoping others can see how to win by common sense as we have! Safety first on the track and drivable has done that for us to finish and win! Happy Easter! The last two new cars limited and mods, won at mid season first time out with no changes needed! That does say something if your listening! It was not money or extra motor but know-how and drive-able! Having a 35 year winning driver didn't hurt! Our Rookies win too!

Glad you were happy with the car. The first night out and all you had was a bad tire rub is not a bad thing. Fix that and go race it now.
