building a new metric for the new year...please share your thoughts on a starting point.....1/4 mile slick/black hardpacked 12 deg banked corners with abrupt change to flat straights..#3050..stock mounted suspension...asphault pulloff hard tires..car is sitting at #2700 now with no weight added, and me in the seat.it has 50.5% rear, and 51% left...gonna add #350 and need advise on where to put it and what percentages and springs to start with....and some insight on tuning tips for playday in a few weeks.tweeks and cheats are also welcome..thanks in advance.

I'll throw this out there. A Metric needs all the weight as high as you can get it. That means bottom of fuel cell above the frame rails. Dont put any lead right of the center line of the chassis, just a bad practice, means you havent worked hard enough moving things to get it to scale right. A very basic setup would be 1200 RF 1050 LF, 200 LR 175 RR. 52% rear, left and cross. This is not the setup we ran on our car, but a basic place to start from.
