My late model has a 6-2 shock and spring behind lr and is tight going in! My modified has like a 11-1 shock in front and spring on slider behind lr! The modified runs really well. What would happen if i did a similar setup on the late model?? Also the late model does not stay hiked like other late models or my modified! Thank you please respond asap!!

Shocks alone play a important role in getting to a working point quicker and holding it longer! or holding to move other things first! The fight is always on between springs and weight transfer with shocks timing each round! Holding on to left rear is the bell ringer in turning!

While lift and roll is changing bar angles it also does change drive! The indexing comes into play with spring mounts and drive angles, it is hard to adjust anything car to car! Differential twist if clamped plays a factor too! Think about a stock leaf spring rear car as to pounds controlling loose or tight! Then look at what happens in the cross during the nosing process! See where spring location and movement leads the poundage! If loosing left rear the drag is on the right making it hard to turn! I would stiffen right ft. to limit nosing but over load the left by fifty pounds on the weaker front spring! This should transfer to right ft to left front to the right rear to plant without loosing left rear and then, less hike is needed and right side steer and bite can improve to let rollout work! More right drive angles than left to even rear poundage for more bite and ease of turning and straightening coming off! Less steer on or off the throttle but turns by weight placement hold or drive per wheel as all do no mater the car! Indexing where to look first or shock quickness in getting to a looser point! Any hiking is not to my liking! I prefer the drive of two rears and no transitions only transfer with little movement of chassis! You have nothing to loose! I go for what works as do others but of my own doing! Goose or gander it should work if all is the same but we know its not! Worth a try or change totally to something of yours alone with a understanding of how things works together better than opposing factors of nature!
