please need help we are currently having to rebuild another car due to an iccident where a guy drove us into the wall and totalled 09 pro 1 chassis we are having issues figuring out if the rearend will work with our bird cages we dont have the money to buy new being the fact we had to buy a new chassis the bird cages we have now are originally off a warrior ppm racing im pretty sure is the brand we have alittle bit of adjustment to make work we looked into it and found that we could use it in an 02 rocket with doing the adjustments we have but is it the same from an 02 rocket to a 07 rocket i would really appriecate the help we r rying to get it together as fast as possible to be back out for the rest of the season

I am not up with anyone's pre-settings as I always change to suit by movement! The closeness to center of the axle speeds angle or degrees of change in movement on that side of the bird cage moving the pivot top to bottom as far as amount of steer at the cage goes! Bar length and angles controls this too! Set at static to the negative side of its directional movement! Jack the chassis as to its normal lean or hike to center the amount of change as to less of a cam-ing effect of motion! Rod angles to the cage should be in a direct pushing angle with out excess of reason! Each and every one with spring location mounts have there own settings as to amount of chassis lift or rotation of birdcages or spring mount movement if so designed! As long as angles to the rears are close to what you had! Chassis should not matter other than bar mounting locations at the chassis having holes where you need them! I Hope this helps to realize if frame mounts locations are the same, nothing changed! If rod length changed indexing to get to these chassis mounts, bar length should be changed instead of before settings! Then take into consideration length to degree changes witch should be minimal and not a problem unless more than 2 inches in length difference to get back to the chassis! If only one bar is lengthened, degree in bird cages would need to be checked a bit to compensated by more rear lean rear if top left or front lean if right top! The amount of change would depend on angle settings to start with and amount of motion and direction of movement of bar angle change! Set the rear as before on stands at ride heights and change bar lengths to fit chassis first if info is known in your old settings! Lesser bar angles and length have little change on movement in length but over 4 degrees and a inch longer with movement and angle change in a positive amount by indexing and getting longer or shorter by travel can change several degrees at the bird cage! Thus the short or long- close or far to center hole on the cage mounting! If yours has only two matching holes from center you may need another to compensate for added or loss of movement as to short bar are longer bar angle change! Just use your head and a jack to see what needs to be done out-side the box in what you wish it to do! Wish it was easier and hope this gets you there!

Are you going to change from your chassis setting to a totally different design of set-up or just a piece of pipe? Check your side angles as well if not moving total mounting system to new chassis if no where close to working! Changing inside to out with mounting locations and wedge can slow things a bit in steer movement!

thanks for the info but we are going from an 09 pro one chassis to an 07 rocket chassis and just only thing holding us up is the rearend setup where our birdcages should be we actually just talked to rocket and got the measurements we needed just now in lies the other problem we have to slide our birdcages in a 1/2in to make everything work but we have twc bearing birdcages and we are afraid if we try to move them that we might mess up the bearings so any suggestions on how to move them without harming them would be helpful just they have been on that rearend in that spot for 7-8 years now considering we had it on our warrior before the pro one

Longer bolts move sides with center shimmed! Bend the rods! A to B can be a crooked bar with a straight line! Not by the book but another page in getting it there!
