I would go bigger and not turn it up too much! What kind of fuel? I don't run any more compression than I have to for longer burn time on the longer strokes for sure! A lot less timing needed with so much dwell timing on the pistons, plenty of time for pressure to build on its own! A lot of prep and parts to gather up too! We usually go cheap and de-stroke to turn that baby up on a 1/4 mile! Is your cam a single pattern asymmetric cam? You will need all the specs on it to degree! If it ran in a 350, opt for newer design to fit stroke!!!

That cam was in a 396 and has about 2 hrs of run time on it I got the cam card at the shop. Still not very happy with the machine shop that long blocked that motor. Cam timing was 20 degrees off and it through a rod out the side of the oil pan. Lost the block, crank, 2 rods and a piston and that's before I tear it the rest of the way down.
But the fuel I'm going to use is VP M-85 85% methanol 15% VP 110

It would probably be asymmetric as they degree in only by the on ramp of the intake and not by centerlines! Best to check any at the valves! The back side of the lobes are a straighter shot to close faster! Better spring retainers and keepers are a must along with perfect spring pressures and valves!
