They are allowing for 2015 racing season is run 602 crate motors. We're allowed any single or dual feed carbs with vaccum secondarys no double pampers. What carb do you guys think is the best for the 602 crate motor? Thanks!

I'm A q-JET GUY FROM MY GM DAYS -- UNTILL OUR RULEs CHANGED TO 4412 WE RULED WITH ONE I BUILT! up grades are posted __run some searches! WINNING 86 % IN 3 YEARS OF LIMITED CLASS ,IN 4 STATES LOL--- to old to go so much now but it was quite fun---750 or 850 sizes, a inner bump close to the throttle linkage protrudes inside on the 850 when looking inside the ft. barrels ! Fuel nut must be drilled out for flow and Holley screen instead of filter! A metering kit and power valve spring and holder set with jets all in performance upgrade kit for 140 bucks --- larger needle and seats and floats designed for this too or buy stage three racing carb and then I would still up-grade it too for my use only--- extreme is only a start!!! --- the only crate I ever ran was barrowed and only ran once-- it won that one night as needed to hold points as with 3 series that one year! WE had to install the adaptor -- about 12 bucks! NO BOG EVER-- VERY CRISP--- MUSCLE CAR ERA GUY-- YOU HAD TO KNOW A LOT OF TRICKS TO SURVIVE ON THE STREETS AND STIL WIN!!! With a 283 over 440-6 pack cars, 427-9 were tough, 454 three duces were tough! HEMIES RULED THOUGH!!! lol! DIRT MORE FUN TO ME BUT IM NO DRIVER!!! Drag racing years until switching to Dirt in 1980-- ET s a very different game than know-how!!! If unclear in searches just message for a one on one! I hope to be still kicking and still of service to those with a open mind-set!!!

Once a q-jet is Setup right, it's tough to beat if you have to run such a carb. If it's a 602 motor, I'd stick to a 750 cfm. If you could give some examples of what is considered " legal"
