Has anyone ever tried anything different to hook up a leaf car? I'm useing asphalt tires. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Spring combow ft and rear and side to side with total weight of car to get the cross to hold left rear and caster to transfer the weight! Added lead to hold left rear is key to roll factors! A 25 stronger left reat and 200 stranger rt. ft. to hold equal once rolled!

Things I have tried on a leaf car that improved forward bite but tech guys didn't like include. Toe the front leaf eyes in ( TWARD center of car)approx 3 in difference front to rear. another is the clamps that hold the leaf together. Get rid of the left rear ones behind the center of leaf. That should be the heavier spring on dirt. That will allow it to twist a bit more under acceleration and store more energy ( tourqe aubsortion)The ones that should stay try to splay them outward ( away from leaf pack) just a bit so leafs can move slightly. That will help all around to keep springs consistent. Front spring eye bushings should always be stock rubber. No aluminum or urathane. Anything that can absorb tourqe during acceleration will help forward bite. Other than that more LR bite can help as well but generally will make you very tight mid corner. It's a trade off WICH has to be tuned to your driving style. Also can try to make your gas pedal throw longer. Makes it easier to modulate throttle. Hope this helps

AGAIN --CASTER PLAYS A BIG PART IN TRANSFERING POUNDS TO THE LEFT REAR OR LOOSING IT ON A CAR THAT IS RUNNING TIGHTER TO START WITH! ABOUT 80 POUNDS OF SHIFT CAN BE HAD FROM LEFT TO RIGHT ON THE STEERING WHEEL OF DRIVER CONTROL! THAT IS WITH THE CORRECT SPRING COMBO AND EXTREME CASTER! CAMBER IS MORE FOR TIRE SURFACE CONTACT WHEN ROLLED OVER IN THE TURN, THAT IS IF YOU DO THAT SORT OF THING JUST TO MOVE POUNDS OR ADD STEER NEEDLESSLY AWAY FROM A DRIVERS TOTAL CONTROL OF ALL 4 CORNERS!!!
