When are these tires worn out? I have been told they are good for 6 races but is that a whole 28 lap night of racing (5 hot lap 8 heat 15 feature). My tires have anywhere from 3 to 4 nights of racing on them and from 26 to 98 laps total on them. What about tread depth? I have 6 tires and the tread depth rages from .098 to .128. I grind my tires before I race on them for the night. They still seem fairly soft but I haven't ground them again yet.

Depends on what corner they are on and how abrasive the track is. I know guys that run them on the LF until they are almost bald. I also know guys that put new tires on every week. I always ran the right sides until half the tread was gone. The left front I ran longer.

How much tread does a new g60 have? I'm kicking myself for not measuring them when they were new

I'm not sure. Have never measured them, nor do I have any new ones here.

I throw mine away when the second row of treads go away. Seems that's the row that always wears out first. Compared it on 4 other cars with different setups and pressures to make sure i wasn't crazy. They all seemed to follow the same pattern.

After so many heat cycles the tires will lose their bite. one of the tracks we race at we have very slow tire wear, but after about 4-5 nights on rear tires the car doesn't have any side bite or forward bite.
The tires still look good, and have plenty of tread left, but are just dead
