Not unless you have no idea of what you need and lots of money! I have seen 40 shocks and springs in a trailer! They do make some cheap that twist to adjust and have worked for limited cars to win after crashing the high dollar ones! The variation is what is most affective! I never used split valves to an advantage in any car to win!(GUILTY and have ran them all) But I do things a bit different that wins without there need! A friend bought 2 easy-ups for the front to hook up his super stock I helped build! I told him they would not work as it would not turn! It only pulled both ft wheels and went up the track! The 5 and 3 went right back on and the car handled great to win! Things are a package to work together!

My best advice on shocks,,,, and I leave the shock tuning to my crew chief,,,,,, is this.
If your fast, and running top 5, and the car is good, and your trying to get that final tweek and tune to get the last little bit out of everything,,,, the high dollar shocks might be what you need.
If your running mid pack or so, still learning and maybe struggling a bit, and average knocking the front or rear end out from under your car at least 2 times a month, IMO just get a good shock package on the car and work on getting smooth and a good setup going, and it won't be as painful when you knock the less expensive shocks off the car.
Not really a direct answer to your question, but hopefully helpful. Jim
