I was told that we had this spring setup on our car:
LF: 600 RF: 600 LR: 225 RR: 200
I found out today that this is the actual spring setup on the car:
LF: 550 RF: 600 LR: 225 RR: 200
Should the LF be 550 or 600 and what will the 50lb. difference change as far as handling goes? (You can see my entire setup in the post about rear percentage versus J-Bar angle on the modified forum.)
We are racing this weekend...scaling tomorrow or Friday and I don't know if I need to find a 600# spring or not. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Otis

I would try it and see how the car acts, and what the driver thinks.

Up in the states names of classes can be deceiving as to chassis! We are talking full jig aren't we with such low spring rates and use of coil overs? Ft weight or location of springs and off-sets as well as lean of shocks can mess with spring rates and if car frame, front spring rates should be higher as so designed! Scaling car with driver and a full tank is best as some weigh more. While late in posting, I hope to aide in research of others and improve this sight for tomorrow!
