whats your experience with running the factory 10 bolt 8.5 rear end? can a guy run stock axles with c clips or are they pron to breaking like the gm metric 7.5 rear ends??

yes, they are rather more durable than metric 7.5. i run moser c clip eliminators with moser axles and have yet to break or bend them. i do have alot of experience with stock axles and have broke a few on rough tracks or getting slammed into but they will work well if your on a budget. if you can spend the coin (about 500) on some moser axle/c clip eliminators, its just a little assurance and may help keep the shiny side up.
