Has anyone tried toe in on the rear leaf springs of a camaro? If so, how much toe in? Which side or both? What did it help or hurt on the car? I seen it on the Landrum Spring web site for Chrysler.
Are camaro width 60'' or 62''? Should the rear end be 62'', 60'', or 58''?
Has anyone put chrysler springs under a camaro? Are chrysler spring that much better?
Has anyone tried the camaro springs with the extra leaf in them that make them act like a chrysler spring?
Thanks for the feed back.

I have tried to shorten the wheel base on the left side. If your track is short it may work, but mostly it made the car loose off. I set mine as straight in he car. Chrysler springs will require a little modification . If I'm not mistaken the centre of the front bolt and the mounting pin is 19 inch, the camaro is 24-25 inch. I believe the camaro rear is 60 inch wide stock. The leafs your talking about are afco reinforced front segment. I have heard good reviews and bad. The bad have only said car was tight. I have and still do, make the front eyes of the leaf a little "inboard" mounted. I have noticed better side bite and forward bite The thing I would definitely look at is the front moment centre location, I have been messing with it his year and have seen vast improvements in turning Wich has let me try and tighten the rear with good results. Hope this helps

Leaf4life,
Are you moving both front leaf eyes in or just one side? Was looking at the landrum web site their moving just the right side 3 inch. Seems like a lot. Are you running the stock bushing in it or are you useing some sort of mono ball bushing?
Are you going to try the leaf springs that are reinforce this year? With the tight condition with reinforce spring, wondering what their doing to fix the tight condition?
Yes, I looked at the chrysler and saw that I will need to make some changes if i go that way.

I take energy suspension urathane bushings(good quality) cut half the shoulder off one side and put it on the other. If you were to look at the rear end over top and the front of car was^. It would look like this. / \. Reason behind this is that as the car corners the "bind and twist" of the leaf is not as much and the car handles more consistent . 3inch of this I really think would be quite a bit. Afco says 1 1/2 in on either side. That would equal a total of 3 inch. Next year I will be trying the re Inforced springs. I have heard the mono ball bushing working on asphalt/ road race cars with good results. But I have a feeling the mono ball will be in consistent as the leaf will twist boh front and side to side Fixing the tight is all about the front end, at least for me. Tall ball joints and upper control arm angles have a lot to do with it. It's a lot to write so look it up "roll centre" on google. I used to think it was not important. But since I have been messing with it. It is the one thing I have done little work and gained so much in front end turning, almost too well, wich has me tighten the rear end quite a bit.
