Switching our car from a 4/4 to a 4/Z fully floated on both sides. We are 4/4 or 4/2 guys and not real familiar with the z link. couple questions... Where would you guys recommend running the springs and what configuration? Front/Back/Top, Slidder/Coilover/spring bucket? Car is a '07 WFO. Original chassis builder is no longer in business and not much help. We do know the car was designed to be a 4/Z that's why we are going back to it. It's also based off a GRT we believe so maybe some of you GRT guys can help with starting points for the bar angles and such. Also, What effects do the changes on the Right side bars have?
Thanks in advance.

Actually based off Kasey Kane Harris car. I run a BMS that is on right z link, set up with 175 spring on a 4040 coil over mounted on the rear of birdcage. Be prepared for a whole. new feeling, it will lay on that RR hard and come back slow.

I prefer to put the coilover on the lower arm making it a swing arm RR. Very stable and consistent feeling especially when the track is a lil rough or laying the RR against a cushion. Z link adjustments are just like 4 link. Just imagine the angle on the rear bar extends forward to the 4 link mounts and adjust the same as you would with a 4 link setup.

I love a right Z-link as it can cure lots of ills of J-bars and roll or hike to steer! Easy to change factors in access and can be pinned for fast movement of rear angles! Use to set lead and can go from closed off to open in in a heartbeat if biscuit-ed too! A improvement to any set-up and works well on OLD SCHOOL as well! You want be disappointed in moving just the top bar to the rear once you understand how it works with indexing considered!
