Guys, I've got to say that both cars look to be two very professionally built mods. I can only see good results on the track with that kind of workmanship. Good luck in 2014 season. 48--I race at Caney Valley a couple times a year. Hope to check it out in the pits if you don't mind people looking at your setup. I don't compete against you L.O.L racer 96m-- interesting slope in the rear of your roof. Aerodynamics perhaps? Also ? on your pics on metric shocks post. Look like Ump aprooved lower A-arms but did you fabricate your own uppers? Also what is the swedge tube, rod end you see in the top of one of the pictures?

Ill tell the Street Stock secrets, not quite ready to share all the others just yet, but yes I fab all my uppers. Only way to get exactly what I want. If you stop trying things, you stop going forward!

I respect that answer. Dad always said to try to comprehend what you see. If you can't, ask questions but be wary of the answers. He also said don't give up your secrets until your tired of running in the front pack. I remember in my younger days a N.E. mod driver, Will Cagle, put a tarp over his whole car with a flap in the drivers window so he could get in. Pit crew pulled it off at the last minute before the race started. He wasn't really hiding anything but it drove his competition crazy wondering. He figured the more time they spent thinking about it the less time they had to work on their own stuff.

Hey VRT! I thought I recognized your car as one of the Vintage Racers that visit Caney.
Unfortunately the car owner won't let me show the underside of the car.Nothing really voodoo or anything going on, they just don't like to show it.
But please do come over and say hello any time. If you have a question and it's in an area I can be helpful, I will always try to point you in the right direction.
