I use the roll bar mount and it works great! Whatever you do, make sure that you tether the camera somehow... that was one mistake I regret!

I use a go pro as well and love the vids. I use the standard roll bar mount, and the angle is ok, but I just can't quite get the camera angle/level I want.
Have any of you guys seen the new mounts that was being used by the drift scene, and is now being used more by the dirt guys? It swivels and in the turns the camera actually points the direction the car is going instead of the infield. Kinda cool.

Great Link. I have a VectorMount GO that lets the camera work like in the video. The mount is not made by GoPro. It can be mounted to rollbar e.c.t. Sure makes the video more entertaining. But it costs about as much as the camera L.O.L. Forgot to mention it can also be mounted on the roof of car. Also do what powercar82 suggests (batten down the hatches). I don't trust the suction cups used to mount on roof so I fabricated a way so it now bolts to roof. Works good as long as I keep the shiny side up.

I'm going to try one of the less expensive cameras that are available… we'll see how a $55.00 deal does in place of a $400.00 one...
