No lies, just the truths in geometry by design in the needs of each set-up to get the job done well! We have had use of multi-jigged cars as to being able to make the most of any design! It was a trip to be able to change it all in any way desired! We went back to a better 3 link with nothing other than set-up and still kicked ass the first night out! No more 4-5-7 link blues! Any one building or redesigning their car this winter may want to get a heads up on the whys and where's of it all!--- If a few post this year moved a chassis up front to the top three the next five races with 3 of them wins, just think what a total make over can do this winter! ---- If the rules were changed to being lifted to check wheel base, how much would you need to know then?--- How about a 58 percent rear max with a 60-80lb left rear rule! Class and track as well as sanction rules do change in the interest of keeping you on your toes and running something new! Going back to stock cars with limits all the way around and new driver classes was a blast to make good use of skills learned and promoted more racing growth with affordability! The next thing I see coming is a standard, total jigged chassis up front to build from as most of our good frames are lost! You had better start learning all the ins and outs now as to the seven designs of set-ups you want to win with on one frame with one set of holes as stock chassis have!!!

On most chassis today with the short bar design would not work with my ideals of traction design! The radical is not what I look for in designs! Give me smooth and dependable with the least amount of upset by movement to hold setting ranges intact to react more consistently to their purpose! This in spring preloads as well as bar angles to geometry! By holding the balance intended, you can depend on it working track to track! Some of this came to light at first sight while others were seen by the change of classes and horse power applied! A few as always were proven by the years of being able to win with no change! 35 years of running 2-3 cars 2-3 nights a week gives a pretty good hands on look at practical applications by designs! I have talked it out with others and seen set-ups cycle or circle like buzzards more than three times in chassis designs looking to go lighter but have more traction! Still gravity rules as drag and down-force is applied in most cases in still adding pounds by control! You still have to watch out for those full moon nights when you have 1/6 less by Earths design! BUNK you say! If it can move 15 feet of tide across the planet, your little ole racecar doesn't have a chance at staying put in motion already! The one change you might want to consider in traction control on your set-up if varying on given nights! About 40lbs in the right place should cover it even if on one end of the track when rising or setting with sling factors! A lot of choices out there to do it right the first time!!!

If 40 lbs. can't make that much difference in total weight but placed low left and rear to achieve a better balance told me just what side of the range of traction I was on! Not 1/6 the cars weight but 1/6 more transfer to balance it out under throttle or off to be with in range of both sides of traction! The concept of more is better is sometime used in the shorter the better it moves which broadens the range of torque applied! Trading a tat for two tits might have us confused in our choices of more angle needed! The differences in location of weight applied and whether or not it holds or moves can limit what else is needed to hold traction! Having 5 or more ways that add left side traction while the right has less would then be a total upset until rolled! Most chassis designs are spent on returning traction to the right side to get traction while all the time adding more to the left to get it over there! Transfer is the key factor and not movement of the roll as most think!

Some of you guys are starting to see some merit in my post and a few converted this past season and started winning! Does that speak for itself or do you need more? If so just ask as you go and be prepared for next years winning streak! Its really simple once you decide to stop changing things weekly and go for a range of adaptability that your car can handle as the tracks change! You don't have to learn it all to use placement to get it there! Maybe the cost of a shock you don't already have in your stash or having to move some weight and a spring or two but how much is it worth to be up front by simple adjustments??? You have it all by now but one on one in messaging is a bit easier for most! This set up works in every class when all else falls short by understanding that the tracks are ever changing and your car can't match it unless it has a range of adaptation! You are not on rails of perfect pitch and each turn and line changes too, not just the surface texture!!! Most are amazed in 3 laps at the confidence they now have in just feeling safe to drive harder knowing what the turn feels like with more speed and actual traction!
