iam looking for a bellhousing for my ump mod running chevy I don't want to pay 500 for a aluminum bellhousing is there a alternative like gm aluminum bellhousing I can use like something out of a junkyard

Safety issue-- BP or poof!!!! but yes unless rear driven pumps!

If you can run an Aluminum or Mag Bell I would look on Ebay at some of the used NASCAR bellhousing's Some really nice deals

If running the small flywheel a older 2.5 s10 will work if using a hyd. throw out bearing system-- most all GM are the same pattern! Some larger trucks have a larger centered hole on a larger housing-- 3 sizes with same patterens-- 3rd hole on top optional but the smaller car and trucks only have the 4 trany bolt holes mechanical or not--- I like a mechanical housing and add hyd to it! S10 has other brackets for added support if needed liken to a 4w drive! Get a safety shield or blanket to be safe always!!! ALWAYS file round all edges & Pollish to add strength by lowering stress factors on the sharp pointed edges -lol--- Same as on using stock rods in your motor!
