I have a 77 Chevy Nova, 2 Dr. The car is a front and rearend clip type car. Like a camero. The question I have is. What full frame car will fit the Nova? I know it is possible to make a roll cage for the car. But a full frame is better. I also know You can buy a frame for the nova. For that I can build a complete roller. Back in the 90's I was racing dirt pro stocks. We put a full frame under the nova/ventura. I have searched for my build notes but can't find them. So, I know the frame will need to be adjusted. Shorten, I can do that. I've been searching the local salvage yards. I need your help. What year and full frame will fit under a 77 chevy nova 2 drs? Thanks for your help.

It would be way easier to tie your front and rear clips together with some box tubing, "for your roll cage to mount to".
The only thing close wheelbase-wise would be a '73-'77 big metric car (Monte Carlo, etc), but I think the overall frame is wider.

Your right. It is easier to connect the front and ear clip. But the leaf springs are harder to set up for dirt track racing and adjust at the track. The metric frame is about the correct wheel base in length. But in width they are not. As far as length, it is easy to cut off the front clip and reset the front clip to the exact length for the car. Squares up the car, so it will react to the steering and brakes more preciously. Plus I really like the 4 link over the leaf spring. The difference in frames: 73-77 is the american made, 78-87 are the metric(smaller) cars. You can actually set the 78-87 frame inside the 73-77 frame.
